The heart of Expo 2020.

We are proud to share that we supported the development of the 2020 Dubai Expo’s thematics districts and its incredible centre-piece, Al Wasl Plaza.

The development of Al Wasl Plaza came with a number of exciting engineering challenges, ensuring a conformable environment for visitors.

The plaza connects the three thematic districts; Opportunity, Sustainability and Mobility. Inspired by the shape of the Expo 2020 logo, the domed trellis’ act as a 360-degree projection surface, providing a stunning visual centre that looks spectacular both inside and out.

Now complete, the spaces will continue to inspire and provide value to people long after the event has officially closed.

We are immensely proud to be part of such an iconic project. Working with Hopkins Architects and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill has been fantastic. Through collaboration we have been able to overcome significant challenges, creating a place that showcases the best that innovation has to offer.
