When business meets the doughnut.

There’s no getting away from it: money makes the built environment go round. But we have created an economy that must grow whether it thrives or not, and now the challenge is to make one that thrives, whether or not it grows.

Enter, the doughnut: a compass for human prosperity

according to economics expert Erinch Sahan,

meeting the needs of all people within the means of the living planet.

To get into the doughnut, we need to move from linear to circular economy with socially distributive ideas – we’re talking circular product design, factories that behave like forests – and explore what is holding us back from making bold action the norm in the urban environment.
