Putting theory into practice.

About me.

I started in the Building Services industry as an engineering apprentice working at a mechanical and electrical contractor.  During the following 10 years I gained hands-on experience with designing and managing projects as well as completing a Masters’ Degree in Building Services Engineering at Brunel University.  I then moved into consultancy and, subsequently, expert witness work.

I am a chartered engineer (Msc CEng MIET MCIBSE) with 18 years’ experience of electrical engineering, having worked on a variety of project types including higher education, defence, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail and residential.

My role.

I specialise in electrical engineering and apply my experience and engineering skill to a range of Expert Witness matters including analysis of electrical distribution, protection, earthing and bonding, coordination, wireless control systems, and life safety systems.

My experience encompasses arbitration, adjudication, litigious and non-litigious dispute resolution in the UK and Middle East.

I have an enquiring nature and a keen interest in building services research.  I combine those attributes with my considerable knowledge of engineering standards and electrical practice to deliver well justified written evidence that is clear and concise.
